That's because on Sunday they were filming at Lady Pecketts Yard near The Gold Fleece. Honestly, Hana! ;) Friday was the last that I saw og him, though. but what a good morning it was.

When Sean married his beloved ladywife in February - he was out of public sight for many moons. I suppose he was on honeymoon with his sweetie-pie - then he was off to India for a long time on the film shoot of "Sharpe's Peril" - about almost four months - there was a total dearth of Sean Sightings.

What an unexpected pleasure to learn he was cast in a prestigious, classy period piece production. He has a good, meaty role as a kind, widowed father to Robinson Crusoe. Sean rarely is cast in sympathetic roles, since Hollywood big budget studio pictures invariably cast him as the wicked sexy, deliciously evil baddie, sociopathic villian.

What a sweet pleasure to learn our beloved "Thinking Woman's Bit of Rough" will be appearing in an epic, classic, literary 19th century costume period drama!

Is going to be luscious and according to people on set a twelve episode television series. One drawback is that it's NBC, not BBC. This isn't me making a distinction between US and British television- only that BBC does it best, compared to all other British channels as well.

But Sean's in it. And York's in it. The producers obviously have good taste :D

It's so stupid, and it's probably partially to do with the fact that Farawyn got completely screwed in the films, but it felt like my heart was going to burst out of my chest, reading that. Ohhh, my boy; he finally has people. He reminds me of 'dazed-with-his-own-happiness' Lupin ♥
- Aragorn's attempts to make things not fucked up anymore. THE HEALING. And Faramir just not having any of it, and rightly so. And THE WHITE TREE, and Arwen slapping him, and WASHING HIS FACE. Beautiful. And he's babbling on about the baby and their big happy extended family, and he's FUCKED EVERYTHING UP FOREVER.
- LEGOLAS. I can't even begin. He's so utterly broken, his family can't reach him, can't touch him (GIMLI!), he sacrificed any chance at peace to come back... AND LITTLE LEAF! Yeah, I had to stop for a cry at six-year-old!Legolas and his self-sacrificing warrior/princely ways.
- ELVES TO THE RESCUE!

Completely agree. Arwen and Aragorn make me feel cold- we had so many chapter where Arwen seemed to be looking after number one, which is understandable because of her baby but her attitude towards Legolas left me feeling uncomfortable- and when she finally went to see him she was pushy. At least she finally admitted it in saying that she bartered his love for Aragorn's soul but will not buy her happiness with his life- or something to that effect.

THRANDUIL and the HOUSE OF OROPHER rock my socks FOREVER! The fact that Lamiel has not gone all out with the soap opera lovin' (much to the disapointment of one ns_tulkas is kinda' more heartbreaking- just imagining the things that may have gone on behind the scenes between Legolas and his brothers- trying to reach him, just speak to him (my heart!). 'Little Leaf' and the scene in the tent between Legolas and his father 'Thirteen against one? And you would call that failure?'

ns_tulkas pointed out that the elven tribute was likened to an ocean- and Lamiel's description of Dol Amroth (elegant lady clinging to the past?)

GIMLI! That was my big cry chapter when he brings Legolas back (and Thranduil's reaction to that later)- Aragorn has not come clean to anybody about his violation of Legolas' mind.

And I saw Indiana Jones on thursday morning (And I mean early early in the morning- it was a one o'clock showing and we decided this would be fun?!) and it is very groovy, especially Sha LaBeouf on the motorbike, though I didn't really get the whole swinging-through-the-jungle Tarzan-like moment. And it went a bit too ET-ish for me at the end :D but yay for Indy returning to our screens.

Loved Shia :D and lke I said in my entry- although I was sat there kinda' baffled by the time the credits went up I'm completely in love with the film now (I was very shortly afterwards). They just went for it and Indy rules the world.
